Security guards use the Beach Tag program to identify Bonnet Shores residents. These are the Beach tags that were issues to each homeowner several years ago.

Please note: Dogs are prohibited on Kelly Beach and Little Beach during official open hours, per the BSFD ordinance. The Narragansett dog officer has been notified of the ordinance’s enforcement. We kindly ask for your cooperation to ensure our community beaches remain welcoming for all residents to enjoy.

Beach Tags

Beach tags are used to ensure that the beach is used by its residents, guests and renters.

How It Works:

  • Each homeowner was issued a beach tag in 2016.
  • Each beach tag is assigned to the house.
  • A person may take as many people at one time to the beach on that tag, and may also use a valid Bonnet address driver’s license, or a Bonnet Beach Club Pass.
  • This tag can also be used on the beach bus.
  • The Council implemented a policy whereby homeowners would be permitted to purchase REPLACEMENT TAGS for $50 each one time only.
  • These tags will only be used on weekends during the summer season.

We kindly ask your cooperation in enforcing the residency requirement.
